Our model for how we are going to tackle the task of connecting a low level monitoring with a high level visual representation is a very much layered model. The different layers will be interchangeable meaning that if you want to use a different database that will be extremely easy to change.
This model allows for the easabiltiy and flexability that we are striving for in all parts of this project.
JavaNMS will not only be easy to use but will be an extremely powerfull and usefull tool for all types of network monitoring
